My status: Going by the trends from Thursday and Friday.. closing is the LAST thing I wanna do tonight.. at all. EVER.
My brother: What a little bitch
Me: BUT WE STARTED CAROLINA + TEXAS WHOPPERS AND TENDER GRILL/CRISP SANDWICHES, ALSO A PULLED PORK SANDWICH. ALSO WE HAVE BETTER SALADS THAN WHEN YOU WOKRED THERE, AND SNACK WRAPS WITH THE CHICKEN STRIPS YOU ALSO NEVER KNEW. AND FROZEN LEMONADES. JUSTIN. SPEC BOARD IS JUST NOT THE PLACE TO BE RIGHT NOW.
Me: And I'm probably going to be on spec.
Me: And as I said, judging by trends from yesterday and the day before, day crew didn't get ANY dishes done at all, for which we're going to have to suffer for it.
Me: But I won't be able to do them because I'll be stuck on boards with 1 other person till 9 or so
Me: then when they leave, and once we close the dining room, I'll be alone in the kitchen, finally trying to catch up on dishes (day crews plus all ours from night crew) while trying to keep up orders. no reverse that, I'll be on boards, trying to keep up with dishes. AND closing procedures.
Me: Till we finally close.
Me: If they would just schedule me a kitchen closing partner on saturdays like they do on Fridays (but I never fucking close on fridays so I never get to experience the joy), we'd be out by 1. But they never do, so I'll be stuck there till like 2 if business stays the same.
Me: It's not like I'm worried because "we'll" be too busy to keep up. I'm worried because "I'll" be too busy to keep up.
Me: That store is like the Creek. It's fucking poor. Only so many people can get on the schedule.
Me: Lol but at least at the creek, I was managing.. and we closed at 10 anyway.
Me: Sigh... I miss my store..
